War of the World is an extra large map of 144 by 144 tiles with an underground level, rated hard, for five players, up to four of whom can be human. Pink is reserved for the computer and plays Conflux, while the other colors each start with two town types: Blue with Rampart and Stronghold, Tan with Necropolis and Dungeon, Purple with Castle and Tower, and Teal with Inferno and Fortress. No teams are set. Victory comes from defeating every enemy, and a player loses after losing all towns and heroes. Water covers about a fifth of the terrain. Expect 29 towns, 23 heroes, 116 mines, 35 seer huts, and 253 random monster stacks, including many War Unicorns and Phoenixes.
