War of the Specialists — SoD

War of the Specialists is a large 108 by 108 map that includes an underground level and is set at Normal difficulty. Eight players compete in four teams, and all eight slots can be filled by humans. The factions are Fortress, Rampart, Dungeon, Necropolis, Tower, Castle, Stronghold and Inferno, one per player. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. About half the terrain is subterranean, over a third is grass, and water covers roughly five percent. The map holds 28 towns and 8 starting heroes, along with 340 random monster stacks, wandering Enchanters, Diamond Golems and several dragon types. Artifacts such as several Pendants, the Speculum and the Spyglass are placed across the map, and mines, seer huts, creature banks and monoliths or portals are scattered throughout.
