Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

War Of Legions is an Extra Large underground map for Shadow of Death, spanning 144 by 144 tiles across two levels, with rock, lava, water and subterranean ground making up most of its surface. Eight players can take part, all of them human if desired, split into two teams, and each player starts with a different town type, from Castle and Inferno to Stronghold and Fortress. The difficulty is set to Impossible. Victory requires defeating every enemy, while a player is eliminated once all of their towns and heroes are lost. The map is well stocked, with 26 towns, 33 heroes, 123 mines, 47 seer huts, 186 creature banks and 46 monoliths and portals. Wandering Faerie Dragons, Crystal Dragons and Gold Golems are among the most common roaming stacks, and the Grail is placed somewhere on the map.
