War Of Legions — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
War of Legions is an Extra Large underground-enabled map set on a 144 by 144 grid, built for eight players with two teams and no computer-only colors, so all eight seats can be taken by humans. The eight players are Castle, Inferno, Dungeon, Rampart, Necropolis, Tower, Fortress and Stronghold, each seated in a different color. Difficulty is set to Impossible. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all of their towns and heroes are gone. The terrain is mostly rock, lava, water and subterranean ground. Scattered across the map are 26 towns, 33 heroes, 46 monoliths and portals, 186 creature banks, and 47 seer huts, along with the Grail. Wandering dragons and golems roam the land, and dwellings hold a wide range of creatures. The artifacts include several named items such as the Armageddon's Blade and the Angelic Alliance.
