War of Magic — SoD

War of Magic is a medium 72x72 grass map for Shadow of Death, played on a single surface level with almost no water. It supports six players, four of them human at most, with two computer-only colors, Purple and Pink, and five teams in total. Players on Red, Blue, Tan and Teal start with random factions, Purple plays Fortress and Pink plays Stronghold. The difficulty is set to Impossible. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. The map has seven towns, twelve pre-placed heroes, and a scattering of Pixie stacks, one Azure Dragon, and 78 random monster stacks. Dwellings hold Rocs, Gorgons, and the four elemental types, and a Crystal Dragon. Twelve named Legion artifacts and the Wizard's Well are placed, along with a handful of Orbs, Armageddon's Blade, and the Ring of the Magi.
