Vengeance is a large 108 by 108 map with underground levels, rated expert, for five players. Four of them can be human, and one is computer-only. There are no teams. The premise has a dark-arts villain slaying a hero's father in single combat, leaving a ruined realm to rebuild before the hunt for the killer. Four colors draw from up to eight town types, while purple plays Necropolis. Victory requires defeating one specific hero, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Grass covers much of the land, and only a sliver is water. Wandering Vampire Lords, a Greater Basilisk and a Mighty Gorgon roam the map, and Titan's Gladius and Titan's Cuirass are also placed on it.
