Vendetta is a free-for-all multiplayer map for eight human players on an extra large 144 by 144 board with an underground level. Rock and subterranean terrain make up most of the land, with snow and a modest share of water. Each of the eight colors starts with a random faction, there are no teams, and Dimension Door and Fly are disabled. Victory comes from defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The map holds 16 towns and 15 placed heroes, with wandering stacks of Sharpshooters, Enchanters, Archangels, and several powerful dragons and Titans. Players will find dwellings for a dozen creatures, many mines, creature banks, and a large number of artifacts, including the Bow of the Sharpshooter and the Tome of Earth Magic.
