Thousand countries — SoD

Thousand countries is an extra large, 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and Normal difficulty. Eight players share the world, but only one can be human. The other seven colors are computer-controlled, and there are no teams. The factions in play are Inferno, Castle, Stronghold, Tower, Fortress, and Necropolis. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing every town and hero. Rock covers about 45 percent of the land, water 24 percent, snow 11 percent. The author's note jokes about many countries and their troubles. Players will find 27 towns, 114 mines, and three Titan stacks roaming the map, plus placed artifacts such as Titan's Cuirass.
