The Missing Brimstone is a medium 72x72 underground map for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Restoration of Erathia, rated expert. Its author, who signs as Bas "KillerBee" Gent, pictures a deep factory whose workers have stopped making weapons for Hell's army after a magic armor piece goes missing, so the player must hunt it down before war breaks out. Five players share the map, with only one human seat and four computer-controlled colors, and there are no teams. The factions are Inferno for the human player, Stronghold, Rampart, Necropolis, and Tower for the computer opponents. Victory means transporting a specific artifact, and the player loses if a specific hero dies. Terrain is mostly rock, with lava, snow, and grass. Ten named artifacts are placed on the map, including the Breastplate of Brimstone, and the Grail is also present.
