The Midlle East — RoE

The Midlle East is a large 108 by 108 map for Restoration of Erathia at Normal difficulty, with an underground level included. It is set for eight players, with only one human seat and seven computer-only colors, and there are no teams. The green player is the human side, playing a Castle town, while the other seven players take Dungeon, Rampart, Fortress, Necropolis, Inferno, Stronghold and Tower. Rock covers about 45 percent of the land and water roughly 18 percent, with rough ground and swamp making up the rest. Victory requires flagging every mine on the map, and the game is lost if a specific named hero falls. The map holds eight towns, ten heroes, 52 mines, three creature banks, and fifteen named artifacts plus nine random ones. Wandering stacks include many Swordsmen, Crusaders and genies.
