The King and Queen — RoE

The King and Queen is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles for Restoration of Erathia, pitting five players against one another, with four seats open to human players and the fifth held by the computer. The story follows Lord Katan, who has seized Castle Myonia and imprisoned Princess Jana, and the goal is to defeat him and restore her to the throne. Players compete without teams, each seat fielding a different faction: Tower, Dungeon, Rampart, Fortress, and Stronghold. Victory comes from capturing one specific town, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map is rated Hard. Subterranean ground covers about a third of the terrain, with grass, water, and sand making up much of the rest. Notable features include a large number of minotaurs roaming the map, twelve towns, and eight placed artifacts.
