The Baltic Sea — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Baltic Sea is an extra large 144 by 144 map for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams and every faction assigned at random. The author gave only a short description, so the map is best understood from its layout: roughly 39 percent water, with grass, snow and sand making up most of the remaining land. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing every town and hero. The map is rated hard and has no underground level. Among its contents are 24 towns, 120 mines, 10 creature banks and two timed events, plus a Grail and 66 random artifacts. Wandering monsters include ice elementals, crystal and azure dragons, a phoenix, and several other stacks, while dwellings hold dragons and a faerie dragon.
