Statute Quandary — SoD

Statute Quandary is a Shadow of Death map set on an underground level, measuring 72 by 72 tiles. It is built for seven computer-controlled players, with a single human player at most and no teams. The factions include Castle, Rampart, Fortress, Inferno, Necropolis, Stronghold and Tower. The story casts your character as a nephew who has broken his uncle's statuette and must bring the pieces to the uncle's castle. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact to that castle, and the game is lost if a specific hero falls. Rock covers nearly half the terrain, with grass, swamp and a little water. The map holds 13 towns, 41 mines, nine monoliths and portals, and the Grail, along with a set of Legion artifacts and a Bone Dragon among its wandering monsters. Difficulty is rated Hard.
