Might vs. Magic — WoG
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Might vs. Magic is a medium-sized underground map of 72 by 72 tiles for In the Wake of Gods, set at Expert difficulty. Two players take part, but only one can be human, and the Blue side is run by the computer. There are no teams. The human plays Conflux against a Stronghold opponent. Victory requires defeating one specific hero, and the player loses if the 140-day limit expires. The terrain is mostly water, grass, snow and sand, and the map holds six towns, sixteen mines, twenty-one creature banks and twenty-two timed events. Notable finds include the Crown of the Supreme Magi and the Orb of the Firmament, along with wandering griffins and water elementals. The description warns that the balance strongly favors the computer.
