Land Without Mercy is a large 108 by 108 underground map for In the Wake of Gods, rated Impossible, with eight players in four teams. Only two seats can be human, and the other six are computer-controlled. Tribes once settled a sand island, but raids through enemy monoliths and the disappearance of their guards shape the backdrop. Red is fixed to Tower, Necropolis and Dungeon, Teal plays Conflux, Green and Purple can choose from five factions, and the rest are random. Sand, lava, water and subterranean ground cover most of the land. Notable features include the Grail, 49 monoliths and portals, 30 creature banks and 66 random artifacts. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while losing every town and hero ends the game.
