Lava covers over a third of the land, with grass, snow, and rock making up much of the rest and water about 8 percent. The hero begins with three towns and can explore seven seer huts, 27 quest guards, three creature banks, and seven monoliths and portals, along with six timed events. Wandering Devils, Arch Devils, Efreet, and Angels roam the map, and artifacts such as the Bow of Elven Cherrywood and the Orb of Driving Rain are placed across it. Victory requires defeating a designated monster, while losing a designated hero ends the game in defeat.
