Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Unknown Land is a hard, medium-sized 72x72 map for Shadow of Death with an underground level. Eight players, all of whom can be human, compete in five teams, with each color fielding a different town type: Inferno, Castle, Necropolis, Rampart, Dungeon, Stronghold, Fortress, and Tower. Water covers about 38 percent of the surface, with subterranean, grass, and lava terrain making up most of the rest. The map includes 18 towns, 57 mines, 7 creature banks, 6 monoliths or portals, and the Grail, along with artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade and Angel Feather Arrows. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes.
