A knight accepts a difficult job for a town and gets part of the pay in advance, though the details come later. Six players take part, but only one can be human. The other five are computer-controlled and play Tower, Rampart, Castle, Stronghold, Fortress or Inferno. There are no teams. Rock covers 46 percent of the map and water 20 percent. Highlights include the Grail, the Buckler of the Gnoll King, a wandering Titan and Gold Dragon, and 28 mines. Victory comes from building a Grail structure, while losing a specific hero is the defeat condition.
