Heaven and Earth is a large 108 by 108 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level at normal difficulty. Seven players fill the map, up to three of them human, and the remaining four colors are computer-only. Players form four teams. Red plays Tower, Blue Rampart, Orange Necropolis, Teal Dungeon and Pink Stronghold, while Green and Purple get random factions. Water covers about 30 percent of the terrain, with grass, lava and subterranean ground making up the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map contains 14 towns, two Gold Dragons, a Master Gremlin, 86 mines, and placed artifacts such as the Shackles of War and the Spirit of Oppression.
