Invisible Horizon is an Extra Large underground-and-surface map for Shadow of Death, measuring 144 by 144 tiles at Normal difficulty. According to its description, the people above ground and the dwellers below once knew nothing of each other, but they soon discovered that both value power and wealth. Six players compete, with up to five human participants, and the Purple player is computer-controlled. There are no teams. Each player fields one faction: Tower, Rampart, Necropolis, Stronghold, Fortress, or Inferno. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Rock, subterranean ground, water, and lava make up most of the terrain. The map holds 14 towns, 122 creature banks, 10 monoliths and portals, and 128 random artifacts.
