Lords of Darkness. — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Lords of Darkness is a medium underground map of 72 by 72 tiles for the Restoration of Erathia version of Heroes of Might and Magic III, rated expert. Three players take part, with two teams and only one human seat, so the Red player is the only one controlled by a person while Blue and Tan are computer-run. Every player fields the Inferno faction. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses if a specific hero falls. The landscape is mostly water, with rock and lava making up the rest. Five towns, four starting heroes, six mines, and six monolith and portal sets are spread across it. Wandering Efreet Sultans, Pit Lords, and Magogs roam the map, and eight timed events add pressure. Among the artifacts placed are the Sword of Hellfire and the Crown of the Supreme Magi.
