It is built for three players, with only one human seat, while the Blue and Tan colors are computer-controked. Red, Blue and Tan all play Inferno, and the two teams are set up as a contest rather than a free-for-all. Terrain is mostly water, about 47 percent, with rock at roughly 31 percent and lava at 19 percent. The map has five towns, four starting heroes, six mines and wandering stacks that include Pit Lords, Magogs and Efreet Sultans. Eight artifacts are scattered around, among them the Sword of Hellfire and the Crown of the Supreme Magi. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses if a specific hero falls.
