Les Maitres des Marais — RoE

Les Maitres des Marais is a medium underground map of 72 by 72 tiles for Restoration of Erathia, rated Expert, and it is built mostly from swamp and rock, with smaller areas of subterranean ground and water. Seven players are placed, five of them computer-only colors (Red, Blue, Tan, Green and Orange), while Teal and Pink take random factions, and up to two humans can join. Two teams are set up, and every computer-controlled player starts as a Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The map holds nine towns, six heroes, and many guarded sites, including dwelling creatures such as Gorgons, Minotaurs and Wyverns, plus wandering stacks like a Cerberus and a Behemoth. Thirteen named artifacts are placed, along with 46 mines and nine creature banks.
