Helmowy Jar — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Helmowy Jar is a small 36x36 map for Heroes of Might and Magic III, built for the Restoration of Erathia version and played on the surface. It supports two players, with one seat open to a human and the other controlled by the computer, and there are no teams. The human player leads a Castle town against a computer-run Stronghold. Victory comes from defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The land is mostly grass with some swamp and no water. Wandering monsters include skeletons, hobgoblins, wood elves and wolf riders, and dwellings offer pikemen, goblins and wolf riders. Two artifacts are placed on the map: the Everflowing Crystal Cloak and the Inexhaustible Cart of Lumber. The map also has twelve mines and a single creature bank.
