Europa2001 — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Europa2001 is an extra large underground map for eight players, with up to seven human participants and the Pink player controlled by the computer. The author describes it as a contest for dominance in Europe among eight powers, including Great Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Egypt and Russia. Each player begins with a different faction, from Rampart and Castle to Inferno and Fortress, and there are no teams. Rock covers about half of the 144 by 144 tiles and water about a fifth. Wandering gnolls, magogs and rocs roam the land, and dwellings offer golems, genies and giants. A player wins by defeating all enemies and loses by losing all towns and heroes. The difficulty is set to hard.
