Europa2001 — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Europa2001 is an extra large underground map for Restoration of Erathia, played on a 144 by 144 board. Eight players take part, with up to seven human, and there are no teams. The description imagines eight major European and Mediterranean powers competing for dominance on the continent. Each color plays a different faction, from Rampart and Castle to Fortress, and Pink is computer-only. Rock covers nearly half the terrain, with water about a fifth. The map has 14 towns, 17 heroes, 74 mines, 72 random artifacts, 13 creature banks and 98 random monster stacks. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. It is rated hard.
