Europa is an extra large, 144 by 144 map with an underground level, built for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams. The players are Castle, Tower, Rampart, Castle with Inferno, Castle, Stronghold, Dungeon and Inferno, and the win condition is to defeat every enemy, while a player loses once all of their towns and heroes are gone. Rock covers about thirty-six percent of the terrain, water about twenty-three percent, grass sixteen percent and lava eleven percent. The map is spread with 218 random monster stacks, and the most common roaming groups are Water Elementals, Skeletons and Magogs. Players will find 21 towns, 71 mines, eight creature banks, six seer huts and two monolith and portal pairs, along with a set of named artifacts such as the Crown of the Supreme Magi and the Boots of Speed.
