Breath of Life is an extra large underground map for Shadow of Death, sized 144 by 144. About seventy percent of its surface is water, and the author describes it as a big team map with many islands to explore. Seven players share the field, with up to five human players, while the Teal and Pink colors are computer controlled. Three teams compete on Impossible difficulty. Most colors start with random factions, Purple plays Tower, and Pink plays Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The remaining land is mostly sand, with some lava and grass. Notable finds include Armageddon's Blade, the Grail, 72 mines, and 19 monoliths and portals.
