Battel for the Castels! — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This Extra Large underground map for Restoration of Erathia, set at Impossible difficulty, was made jointly by two mapmakers, and its brief description reads as a rallying cry to fight the opposition. The 144 by 144 field supports eight players, with two seats open to human players and six reserved for computer opponents. No teams are set. Factions in play include Tower, Fortress, Castle, Stronghold, Inferno and Necropolis. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 48 towns, 66 creature banks, 16 monoliths and portals, and the Grail, along with placed artifacts such as Angel Wings and the Dragon Scale Shield. Water covers about a fifth of the terrain.
