April Battles — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
April Battles is a large underground scenario on a 108 by 108 map, built for Shadow of Death and set to Impossible difficulty. Six players take part, but only one can be human, and the other five are computer controlled. The players are split into two teams. The factions are Necropolis, Tower, Fortress and Stronghold, with two Towers and two Strongholds among them. Rock covers most of the ground, followed by snow, rough land and sand, with a small share of water. Wandering Wraiths appear in large numbers, along with Titans and several other stacks, and the map includes five placed artifacts such as the Cape of Velocity and Cards of Prophecy. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and the game is lost if time runs out after 336 days.
