Every player starts with a random faction, and no teams are used. The map is rated Impossible and covers 144 by 144 tiles, mostly grass, swamp, snow and lava, with about a tenth of its area water. Expect 43 towns, 130 mines, 55 creature banks, 18 monoliths and portals, and 37 timed events, along with wandering stacks of Yeti Runemasters, Scorpicores and Dread Knights. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing every town and hero.
