After the Sorm is a medium 72 by 72 map set on an underground level. It opens on an unfamiliar island, where the hero wakes with a fierce headache and no memory of how they arrived. The map supports three players, with at most one human, and the Red and Orange sides are computer-controlled. There are no teams. Red plays Castle and Dungeon, Orange plays Dungeon, and Purple plays Castle. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, and a player loses if a specific hero is lost. Water covers 37 percent of the map. Seven towns, nine seer huts, eleven mines, and placed artifacts such as the Boots of Speed and the Amulet of the Undertaker shape the exploration.
