The author's description says the goal is to find and capture a town, and recommends playing at a high difficulty because the map is fairly easy. Six teams are set up, and the factions are Castle for Red and Blue, Dungeon, Inferno, Rampart, Necropolis and Fortress for the others. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and a player loses when all their towns and heroes are gone. Terrain is mostly subterranean and lava, with grass and some water. The map holds 17 towns, 46 mines, two creature banks, ten monoliths and portals, and the Grail. Wandering monsters include marksmen, zombies and griffins, and many artifacts are scattered across it.
