Wrath of Elves is an Extra Large map measuring 144 by 144, with underground levels, made for the Shadow of Death version and rated Expert. According to the author's description, it is set in an ancient forest home of elves, fairies and magical dragons, which outside invaders have thrown into turmoil, and the elves respond with fury. Eight players take part, but only one can be human, and the other seven are computer-controlled. There are no teams. The factions are Castle, Tower, Fortress, Rampart, Inferno, Necropolis, Stronghold and Dungeon. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Grass and rock cover most of the land, with subterranean areas and water making up the rest. The map includes the Grail, 195 random artifacts, several named artifacts, and 176 creature banks.
