Woodyland — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Woodyland is a small 36 by 36 map for Restoration of Erathia, with an underground level and an expert difficulty rating. Eight computer-and-human colors share the field, though only four can be played by humans, and the other four are computer-only: Orange, Purple, Teal and Pink. There are no teams. Each color fields a different town type, from Castle and Tower to Inferno, Necropolis and Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Terrain is dominated by subterranean, lava, swamp and rough ground, with no water. The map holds ten towns, thirty mines and sixty-seven random monster stacks, along with several strong wandering creatures such as Titans and Archangels. Placed artifacts include the Endless Sack of Gold and the Dragon Wing Tabard.
