Whistler Hills — RoE

Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

Whistler Hills is a small 36 by 36 Heroes of Might and Magic III map for four players, split into two teams, and it includes an underground level. Each player begins with a random faction, and the map can be played with up to four human participants and no computer-only colors. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses once all of their towns and heroes are gone. The map is mostly grass and subterranean ground, with patches of rough and dirt terrain and no water. Scattered across it are four towns, 91 wandering monster stacks, 16 artifacts, 28 mines, and six timed events. The author's description frames it as a cooperative effort with a partner, with the rival team positioned either above or below.
