When an Army meets an Army.... — RoE

This medium 72 by 72 underground map centers on suspicion between the forces of good and evil, with the author hinting that the Neutrals may have started the war over a wager, a mystery players are left to uncover. Eight players, all of whom can be human, compete in three teams, each with one faction: Castle, Tower, Rampart, Stronghold, Fortress, Necropolis, Dungeon, or Inferno. Nearly half the terrain is water, with the rest mostly subterranean, grass, and dirt. Each player starts with a town and a hero. The map includes 56 mines, four creature banks, 14 timed events, and artifacts such as the Boots of Speed and the Golden Bow. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and the game is lost if time runs out after 336 days. The difficulty is set to Hard.
