Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
War of the Gods (Allies) is an extra large underground map measuring 144 by 144 tiles, built for four human players split into two teams. Red plays Castle, Blue plays Inferno, Tan plays Rampart, and Green plays Necropolis. The map's story follows Hades, who turns against his brother Zeus out of jealousy and recruits Hephaestus, while Zeus wins Poseidon as a partner. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all of their towns and heroes are gone. Rock and water make up most of the terrain. The map holds four towns, five placed heroes, and wandering monsters including Medusa Queens, Diamond Golems, and Gold Golems. Fifteen artifacts, 25 mines, and six monoliths or portals are also scattered across it.
