The four factions in play are Castle for Red, Inferno for Blue, Rampart for Tan and Necropolis for Green, and the difficulty is rated hard. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 39 percent of the surface and water about 33 percent, with smaller shares of snow and rough ground. The map has four towns and five heroes at the start, along with 25 mines, six monoliths and portals, and a timed event. Wandering threats include Medusa Queens, Diamond Golems, Gold Golems, a Beholder and a Basilisk, and the map scatters a number of artifacts, including the Helm of Chaos and several orbs.
