Vulcanian Archipeligo is an extra large Restoration of Erathia map, 144 by 144 tiles with an underground level, rated Hard. Seven players share it, but only one seat can be human and the other six are computer-only, grouped into four teams. The seven factions run from Stronghold and Castle to Necropolis and Fortress. The map centers on a search for the Grail, which must be carried to the Inferno of Grailholme across a wide swamp that encircles the planet at its equator. Rock covers about a third of the land, with water, subterranean ground and lava making up the rest. Sixteen towns, 96 mines, 62 creature banks and ten monoliths and portals help players cross it. A player loses by losing all towns and heroes.

Author's description

To win you must find the Grail and take it to the Inferno of Grailholme. In a land with a vast swamp girdling the Equator of the planet, you and your far flung ally must search long and hard for the Holy Grail.
