Viking King — RoE

Viking King is a large 108 by 108 map for Restoration of Erathia, set on an underground level at hard difficulty. Its premise is a short story about uniting the Germanic tribes in the Dark Ages. Six colors take part, with one human seat at most and five computer-controlled rivals, and there are no teams. The factions in play are Rampart, Dungeon, Stronghold, Castle, Necropolis, and Tower. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Rock and grass cover most of the terrain, with smaller shares of water and subterranean ground. The map holds 12 towns, 34 mines, 23 random artifacts, the Grail, and 91 wandering monster stacks, along with dwellings for Archers, Dwarves, Unicorns, and Black Knights.
