Videntes — RoE

Videntes is a small 36 by 36 map with an underground level, set on Impossible difficulty. Four players can take part, all able to be human, with no teams and random factions. The premise is that a group of seers needs help rebuilding the land, and the player is not alone. Victory requires accumulating 500 Mercury, while defeat comes from losing all towns and heroes. Water and rock each cover about 23 percent, with dirt and subterranean ground making up most of the rest. Highlights include an Archangel wandering stack, 39 random monster stacks, 18 mines, 16 seer huts, and artifacts such as the Boots of Speed and the Tome of Earth Magic.
