Африка v1.02 — RoE

Africa v1.02 is an extra large surface map of 144 by 144 tiles for Restoration of Erathia, set on a continent where rival powers have fought for control of the land for centuries. Eight players, all of whom can be human, each take one of the eight factions, from Castle and Dungeon to Stronghold, and no teams are set up. Water covers about 40 percent of the map, with grass, rough and swamp terrain making up most of the rest. Players win by defeating all enemies and lose once they hold no towns or heroes. The map contains 33 towns, 16 starting heroes, 139 mines and five creature banks, along with wandering monsters such as a Black Dragon, a Minotaur King and a Pit Lord. Placed artifacts include the Bird of Perception and the Legs of Legion.
