Underground Passage — RoE

Underground Passage is a large underground map, 108 by 108 tiles, set across multiple levels and meant for an easy game. Its author describes a search for hidden secrets within underground caverns, with many dangerous creatures lurking beneath the surface. Four players are placed, with two of them human-controllable at most and the other two left to the computer, and the players form two teams. Every player starts with a random faction. The map is won by defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all of their towns and heroes are gone. Terrain is mostly grass, rock, water and subterranean ground. Wandering monsters include a Greater Basilisk and a Marksman, and the map contains a number of placed artifacts such as the Helm of Chaos and the Dragon Scale Shield, along with a random artifact.
