Trust No One — SoD

Trust No One is a medium 72x72 single-player map for Shadow of Death, played on the surface with no underground level. The author's description, translated from Bulgarian, frames the story around Mulder discovering alien DNA, being betrayed and imprisoned by a rival, and Scully having to rescue her partner. The map is roughly 60 percent grass and 40 percent water, and the sole player commands a Dungeon faction on the Impossible difficulty. Hero levels are capped at 20. Victory requires acquiring a specific artifact, and losing a particular hero ends the game. Five towns, two starting heroes, and 41 random monster stacks fill the land, alongside wandering Naga, Ice Elemental, Energy Elemental, Storm Elemental, Beholder, and others. Notable finds include five placed artifacts such as the Ring of Infinite Gems, along with 35 mines and monoliths and portals.
