Treasure Islands — RoE

Treasure Islands is a medium underground-capable map of 72 by 72 tiles, set on a landscape where water covers about a third of the surface and grass and rock make up most of the rest. Four players share the map, with no teams, and each can be controlled by a human. Three players, Red, Blue and Tan, start as Castle, while Green plays as Rampart. The stated aim is to defeat all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Fourteen towns and four starting heroes are placed across the islands, with 146 random monster stacks roaming the land. Notable finds include sixty-five mines, three seer huts, six monoliths or portals, and thirteen named artifacts such as the Boots of Speed and the four Tomes of magic, along with 42 random artifacts. Difficulty is set to hard.
