Tread — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Tread is a small underground map for Armageddon's Blade, measuring 36 by 36 tiles and played on a single level below ground. It supports two players, with one human seat and one computer-only color, and there are no teams. The Red side plays as Tower and the Blue side as Castle. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The terrain is mostly rock, water, dirt and grass, with water covering about a quarter of the map. Three towns and four heroes are placed, and the difficulty is set to Expert. Wandering monsters include two Azure Dragon stacks, along with single Phoenix, Dread Knight, Battle Dwarf and Faerie Dragon stacks. Dwellings hold Angels, and the author warns to watch out for strong archangels.
