Tread is a small 36 by 36 underground map for Armageddon's Blade, rated expert. It supports two players, both of whom can be human, and there are no teams. Red plays Tower and Blue plays Castle. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock, water, dirt, and grass make up most of the terrain, with water covering about a fifth of it. The author warns that the archangels here are strong. Four heroes and three towns are in play, and roaming through the map are two Azure Dragon stacks, a Phoenix, a Dread Knight, a Battle Dwarf, and a Faerie Dragon, alongside 66 random monster stacks. Angels guard a dwelling, and nine named artifacts, eight random ones, 14 mines, four seer huts, and 15 monoliths or portals add to the exploration.
