Transylvania — SoD

Transylvania is a medium 72x72 map for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Shadow of Death, with an underground level. It is built for five players, though only one can be human, and the other four are computer-controlled and split into four teams. The factions are Conflux for Red, Necropolis for Blue and Tan, Fortress for Green, and Inferno for Orange. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock, subterranean and dirt tiles make up most of the land, with swamp covering a good share and no water at all. The author frames the setting around the old Dracula legend and a group of new landlords who ignored local warnings. Ten towns, five starting heroes, Boots of Speed and Equestrian's Gloves, and fourteen creature banks are among the notable features, and a timed event also appears. The difficulty is set to Impossible.
