This Impossible-difficulty map for In the Wake of Gods covers a medium 72 by 72 grid with an underground level. Six players each control a different faction (Castle, Inferno, Tower, Rampart, Necropolis, and Dungeon), all six can be human, and there are no teams. The premise is that years of rivalry and disorder among neighbouring realms have grown intolerable, and the aim is to bring all of these peoples under a single rule. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Water covers about a fifth of the terrain. The map holds 14 towns, 42 mines, the Grail, and placed artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade, with Water Elementals, Phoenixes, and Trolls roaming the land.
